Not a fan of the console design, tbh. 

But, I really dig that controller man!

 

Amazing presentation, just games, games, games. No bs, no fluff, no politics, no corporate activism. Just really, for the most part, high quality looking games, and all brand new too. Them opening with a game released in 2012 (gta v) made me raise an eye brow at first.

Horizon does look dope.

Resident Evil Village man... gotta respect them doing something crazy fresh again.

Death Loop left me intrigued.

Little Devil Inside looks fucking great and mysterious too. 

 

Oh, almost forgot... Oddworld!! 

They've been working on it for a while, and I think it's finally really taking shape to be a worthy sequel.

Stray looks awesome too. Imagine controlling a cat in kowloon walled city!

Many indie game that I've been waiting for a long time seem to now target PS5.

I was oblivious of the event, I opened YT, saw the stream and started it right when they were showing the console  my first thought was: I’m curious to see what the modding scene will do with this console

I’m surprised how these new consoles aim to be centrepieces of our living rooms, they are not design for utility, disappear in our tv stands and let us just play, but to attract the eye of whoever comes in the room.

I was critical of the Xbox… but now the PS5 has been revealed, if I had to choose solely on design I’d go Microsoft.

Yeah I agree. I don't like the fact that my gaming stuff looks so 1990's sci fi. I've started to shift towards making purhcases where things just looks normal and will fit into my living room nicely instead of scream for attention

They both look like a 14 year old's idea of cool. But then it doesn't really come as any surprise that these are both huge. If they're gonna compete with powerful PC's then they're gonna grow to the same size too. So what's the point? Just get a PC.

So with how much space it’s going to occupy and how obnoxious it looks, and the fact that it is obsolete on day one, are there games enough to justify it? I’d like to play Last of Us 2, but what else are people looking forward to? A new GTA?

Kind of on the fence about this purchase, and I’d never even consider an Xbox.
