I was posting this to the W.i.P thread but I decided to make thread just for that project. It is my first project of that size. Map has a lot of similarities to dust2 (mainly layoutwise) but I noticed that just after drawing it down on the paper :D And yeah for the sake of irony i will design it to the dust2s style. I was thinking about naming it de_dust22, but afterall I think that is a little too much so I keep de_underpass.

PS: I have one question on you guys. What do you think about the underpass itself? Is it a good think or should I remove it entirely? Map has an underpass wchich is connecting T spawn to A and B under the ground and giving Ts another way to enter the site, but they have to be careful with running because you can hear it very clearly even from site or so.

Interesting idea, but I feel like the 4 choke points that this underpass makes spreads the CT's too thin for a map of this size, where playing intermediate (in between) positions is not viable. Maybe keep the underpass and make it a full fledged mid, removing the other one. You could also make connections between mid and underpass, giving them each less connections to the rest of the map. Definitely impressive and exciting to see a beginner mapper who strays from the 3 lane design. Non-standard maps are the ones that catch peoples eyes and change the game (vertigo, inferno, nuke). As for the theme, it is quite a lazy one XD, but I don't think you will be hard pressed to find a theme that incorporates a large underground space. Here is an idea: Underpass is a train station in a historical city (narrow streets), and the sites are spacious historical buildings, or maybe more modern offices blended with older buildings. Here are pictures of historical Prague, a good mix of new and old:

Hm, interesting idea, but the general idea behind the under wasnt to make another mid underground, but to make for Ts straight connectors to sites=normal passive CT using nades holding angles etc. would have to cover one angle more and just pay more attention to the game and listen carefuly, because you can hear when someone walks in under.

It would be open old abandoned track which will fit the theme well and even match the original backstory :D (Terrorists found an old abandoned underpass (metro now) and want to use it for attacking a peacful part of the town to start of panic) 

I would probably make some crashed trains there and a lot of cover+something like path copying the original one to keep good timings.

Woah. Didnt post any updates for quite some time, but Ive been working on some big changes. 

- deleted metro track

-  reworked B site entrances

- reworked A site entraces

- added mid to B T main connector

- reworked mid to A area

It isnt very easy to describe, take a look yourself!
