as i'm not realy experienced at anything yet working my way up is not realy an option as i'll not be accepted into any mod team anyway.

The thing is that a mod leader needs to have good knowledge in at least something in order to gain credibility. The other option would be to aquire knowledge in mod creation by being a part of a existing mod community, becoming a playtester, etc. Either way, it's a long process.
