Thats why I said "most are sequels to games I never seem to buy" Though to be honest I haven't played a GTA since the original. GT4 is a great game that I play often and the PS3 one does look great, its certainly a game I'd buy. Finally more than 6 cars in a race To be honest though, PGR2 was, for me, a better game, so PGR3 is more of a pull.

As for the look of the controllers - I'll take proven useability over originality thanks. The PS3 controllers look like a joke, the 360 controllers look like an improvement over what was already the best of bunch for me.

But no wonder you are leaning towards 360 when you havent played MGS and GTA3->.

The 360 controller looks like a toy. When I saw the first pictures I actually thought it WAS a joke.

I've played and completed MGS, played MGS2 briefly, and watched the vast majority of MGS3 being completed. I've played and completed GTA, and played GTA3 just not for any real amount of time. I'm not saying they are bad games - far from it - just not some of my favourites.

tough to call

i was a skeptic of the xbox when it first came out and im still not a big fan of it (as is). i would really only buy it for a few games like burnout 3 etc. i'll prob just get a ps3 because honestly the xbox is only better than the ps2 because it came out later and implemented online play better. in the next generation of consoles the graphics will pretty much be on par with each other and online will be standard.

the ps3 controller looks like shit though.

edit: just saw the killzone 2 video....no doubt in my mind im buying ps3 now
