Serialmapper Posted February 23, 2019 Author Report Posted February 23, 2019 I updated the map on the workshop with the assets from the pictures above. here is a basic overview TECHNICKER, That50'sGuy, Interfearance and 1 other 4 Quote
Interfearance Posted February 23, 2019 Report Posted February 23, 2019 You seem really good at displacement usage. I am working on my map, and the mountain it is based in and around has several 90 degree turns, but I can't sew the displacements around corners to give it that soft look. How do you do it? Serialmapper Posted March 2, 2019 Author Report Posted March 2, 2019 Updated to version beta2 after testing a few times with real people. I'm still refining the layout so most of the textures are dev. Interfearance, That50'sGuy and TECHNICKER 3 Quote

Is it possible for the rocks and the castle/fortress walls to not have the same beige/brown color palette? I believe having the walls slightly lighter in color would help with the scene composition and visual differentiation. Otherwise, looking good TECHNICKER and That50'sGuy 2 Quote
Serialmapper Posted May 11, 2019 Author Report Posted May 11, 2019 @will2k you are right, so i made a blend material using some white plaster and those beige/brown stones. Also i changed the sand texture from the 4way blend material. I want the map to suggest heat. Interfearance, jakuza, Freaky_Banana and 10 others 10 3 Quote

The map it's playable, optimized, it has a nav with callouts for a better orientation and last but not least, it has custom assets too, made by me.( only mapcore members have my permision to extract and use them if desired) Workshop link. gordonfeetman Posted September 8, 2019 Report Posted September 8, 2019 It's a shame this couldn't be entered into the Exotic Places contest xd Quote
