dux Posted September 23, 2020 Report Posted September 23, 2020 I'm gonna get hated on, but I'm just gonna come out and say it. It looks like a unity asset flip game. What happened after Serious sam 1 and 2? Those games had great art direction. Quote

You're not wrong, but seeing as they're a fairly small studio which probably doesn't attract much foreign talent, they probably found a balance between something that looks presentable, their abilities and the development budget. The art direction was most likely lost in transition to Serious Sam 3 when they "modernized" the game and went for a more realistic aesthetic. Quote

will2k Posted January 10, 2022 Report Posted January 10, 2022 Quote Devolver Digital has now officially unveiled Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem, a standalone expansion to Serious Sam 4 created by indie developer Timelock Studio, formerly a well-known Serious Sam modding team, that's working on the project under the guidance of original Serious Sam studio Croteam. Quote Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem is available for wishlisting now on Steam, and will be available at a "sizeable" discount for owners of Serious Sam 4. It's set to come out on January 25. blackdog 1 Quote
