You can expect that to be the case. If I were Epic I'd do it, 6 months minimum. At the end of the day, it's just business and if Epic wants to pay for the development and Remedy gets to hold onto the IP while also making profit, why not? Guess I got used to the way Epic is doing things. Last year everyone was damn opposed.

I unlocked all of Jesse's powers, once you have all of the game's toolkit at your disposal, the combat becomes so damn fun! Juggling your throw power to break shields, then using a gun to hurt the e

Boom, beat it! Stellar fucking video game!     Control culminates in this moment, gameplay, music, level design, the whole package, really badass:

"They were all dead. The final gunshot is an exclamation mark to everything that had led to this point."  Sam's a legend man!

AFAIK Epic Games Publishing is paying for the development costs of Remedy's new project and taking 50% of the revenue of said project. Remedy keeps the IP rights. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

No idea if this also forces them to a 1 year EGS exclusivity, but that wouldn't be totally surprising.

Worries the exclusive will be longer or total

You can even add the Epic Launcher itself as a non steam game.

It's not the same in terms of how your rights as the owner of the game you buy are. Sure I'll use EGL more and more for the simple fact I keep getting free shit I never played, but still.

"Control has shifted more than two million units since launching last year.

It makes Control the developer's fastest growing new IP since Max Payne."

I started it as well but was too tired to enjoy, I actually fell asleep pad in hand between the first few fights 🤭 but before that I managed to capture some hilarious phys bug.

I’m gonna probably start it again to proper take it in.

Although I must say the game doesn’t start gracefully: it doesn’t make sense how you are thrown in the adventure, how timely it’s your arrival with the Hiss… it makes it feel poorly written/rushed. I hope they patch it up as the story unfolds.

lol... them physics! I think I posted this in this thread in the past, but I also recorded some impressive videos back when I played it on the PS4.

I can't wait to get my hands on a 3090 and replay this with raytracing, the SSR on the PS4 were grainy and distracting on shinier surfaces.
