Radu Posted September 4, 2020 Report Posted September 4, 2020 (edited) You can expect that to be the case. If I were Epic I'd do it, 6 months minimum. At the end of the day, it's just business and if Epic wants to pay for the development and Remedy gets to hold onto the IP while also making profit, why not? Guess I got used to the way Epic is doing things. Last year everyone was damn opposed. Edited September 4, 2020 by Radu Quote

Remedy keeps the IP rights. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. No idea if this also forces them to a 1 year EGS exclusivity, but that wouldn't be totally surprising. Worries the exclusive will be longer or total Edited September 4, 2020 by blackdog Quote
-HP- Posted September 4, 2020 Report Posted September 4, 2020 Why is that a worry to you @blackdog? Quote

Sure I'll use EGL more and more for the simple fact I keep getting free shit I never played, but still. Quote
blackdog Posted October 28, 2020 Author Report Posted October 28, 2020 Wow, wasn’t expecting this would be released on Switch! Quote

ElectroSheep Posted December 9, 2020 Report Posted December 9, 2020 That's nice, Finished the story last week, really loved the game and pushing it thought the DLC. It means that even with only 2m units they are good and I think it's cool not having to sold 10m to save your finances Zarsky, -HP- and Squad 3 Quote
blackdog Posted December 9, 2020 Author Report Posted December 9, 2020 I started it as well but was too tired to enjoy, I actually fell asleep pad in hand between the first few fights but before that I managed to capture some hilarious phys bug. I’m gonna probably start it again to proper take it in. Although I must say the game doesn’t start gracefully: it doesn’t make sense how you are thrown in the adventure, how timely it’s your arrival with the Hiss… it makes it feel poorly written/rushed. I hope they patch it up as the story unfolds. Quote

I think I posted this in this thread in the past, but I also recorded some impressive videos back when I played it on the PS4. I can't wait to get my hands on a 3090 and replay this with raytracing, the SSR on the PS4 were grainy and distracting on shinier surfaces. Quote
blackdog Posted January 4, 2021 Author Report Posted January 4, 2021 I haven't picked it back up yet, but this popped up [after watching the video about Alyx's liquid shader] -HP- and Zarsky 2 Quote

Minos Posted June 11, 2021 Report Posted June 11, 2021 I actually picked it up again (after trying it before and not liking it), but second time, I actually quite like it Love what they do with the gameplay once you unlock a few abilities. Can tell they put a lot of love in this game! Squad and -HP- 1 1 Quote
