First model for Source Engine

Hello Mapcore,

I have done my first model using Maya but I do not know how to export the model to"Counter-Strike: Global Offensive", do you have any tutorial for doing this? I do not really know where can I find information about this.

The most popular way is to use Wall Worm [Tutorial]. But this is a 3ds max exclusive (I'm pretty sure).
You can always do it the old fashioned way and create a .qc file and compile the model manually. This is less convenient but when it's setup it's relatively quick and easy. (You'd also have to figure out a way to export your model as a .smd)

      This was my most time consuming project that I've started back in 2018, but then scrapped and returned to it in 2021.

      It took about 8 months to complete and was a great learning experience for me.
