RTSL HL2 2018 mapping competitions

Philip at Run Think Shoot Live has been super organised and published already a calendar of the mapping competitions RTSL will run this year:

on top of the classic HL2 maps, this time called Lambda Cup, there will be one for Black Mesa HL2 remake, Mesa Cup, and other special events.

It would be fun to team up with him for one of these events, cross Mapcore and RTSL, maybe throw in some nice prizes. Would also be fun to actually participate in one of these, as well.

This is what I say all the time!  I’m too rubbish.

Would surely make no arm talking, he’s very active. There’s a “special” contest around Easter as well, maybe you can find out what he’s thinking for that if it’s bot to soon.

Prizes would surely motivate more people, but not sure how you would find something meaty for HL, doesn’t have the same public interest as CS… but you’ve done it many times and know people

I am very interested in collaborating with you on a challenge.  The special challenge is being run by me and an individual and I have discussed the possibility of your becoming involved and he is very interested.  He is currently writing the exact theme description and I will share it privately with you as soon as it has been completed so you can decide if that's something that interests you.

If not, then somebody from MC can join my Discord server where we discuss potential themes etc.
