Gabriel Henrique Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 Hello, this is a map I'm working on, and I'm facing some annoying lightning issues and here they are. Those black shadows on the displacement. The thing is: if destroy the displacement, this bug does not happen, but I want it to be a displacement. And yes, I have nodraw brushes behind and under all the displacements. Please, can someone help me out fixing this? Quote

Often when the ground faces a lot of a brush, it will mess up the lighting. Best case is an L shape where the ground and the wall begin at the same point. Gabriel Henrique 1 Quote
grapen Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 In this case I think it's that the displacement is too wide with too large lightmaps. Try cutting it once in the middle, if that's not enough, lower the lightmaps to 8. Gabriel Henrique and FMPONE 1 1 Quote
Gabriel Henrique Posted January 2, 2018 Author Report Posted January 2, 2018 I tried both and it worked very well. Thanks everyone! grapen, Bastion and FMPONE 3 Quote
