Skalix Posted December 17, 2017 Report Posted December 17, 2017 Well I started creating a CS:GO remake of the old CS 1.6 BETA map Cs_Bunker. I'm really new here and just hope to soon be ready to playtest it sometime (since it got removed for (most likely) being too unbalanced). For now I will just leave this topic here and work on making it playtest-ready. Workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1230235268 slavikov4, gav, Vaya and 1 other 4 Quote
Skalix Posted December 29, 2017 Author Report Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) After the playtest yesterday I made some notes about what feedback I got. "CT-Vent" doesn't need to be a boring vent The "Main Hall" is no real option for CTs There are not enough routes for CTs The chokepoints are mostly only hallways. 2Vents4Me Right now I reworked the CT-Spawn vent - random room - vent system to a loading area for supply trucks with an entrance to a sewage canal that resembles the old lower vent (or underpass) BEFORE AFTER The sewage entrance might be changed sometime. Not really sure about those windows into the canal yet. To keep them or not. Little bit broader exit with stairs instead of the wierd jumping out of the vent. There are a few plans for the sewage canal to make it a bit more plausible but for now in layout testing this isn't that big of a concern of mine. I will update on other changes when I get to them. Skalix Posted December 30, 2017 Author Report Posted December 30, 2017 Now I try to redesign the chokepoint in the generator hallway. This one to be exact: I put together some ideas in the image below and hope for some ideas and feedback on that point. Hopefully someone more competent in creating chokepoints who knows what he's doing notices this, because I don't know what I'm doing. Quote
