Well, I was on Penny Arcade and I noticed the first news post was a thing on Take-Two and the New York Post so after reading it.. I was outraged, I couldnt belive what I was reading, this guy seemed to be condeming violent video games while basicly condoning child molestation. What kind of world are we living in when this garbage could actually be printed?

Thanks to the people at Penny Arcade I was able to see this since I dont read the New York Post, I hope you people are as offended as I am. On another note I heard this guy was fired for this, but i have no proof of this, anyone know about this?

yeh that guy is an idiot. I didn't read the whole article basically because I've read enough articles about how video games are sooo bad. Try watching CNN for 15 minutes and see whats really bad out there.

I like the way people who do these articles, of which there is thousands, don't seem to have played or seen the game, nor know it bares a 18-certificate. Ultimately it's just the usual VIDEO GAMES ARE BAD, TRUST ME trite. Almost as bad as ]governments banning the sale of all 'violent' games (this includes titles such as "Super Mario World") because parents are fucking stupid.

People/Writers like these are generally very similar to our parents, concerning opinions about video games at least. They didn't grow up with videogames and rather believe mature, same-aged persons writing ridiculous articles in newspapers who have no clue about the games as well, than their kids or in general younger persons who are familiar with the material.

Don't get me wrong, I do believe that there is a point in not giving gore, brutal games to 10 year olds, but this "I need to write an article, I'll bash another videogame for an entertainment device the majority of my readers hasn't even ever touched in their whole lives should do it and can write what the hell ever I want to since everybody knows that videogames are produced by satan himself anyway" is just upsetting.

Yeah that may be so but umm don't rely on cnn they are just as bad as any new york post if you ask me
