InsaneSingingBlender Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 how about a mod ideas forum? i think it would be pretty nice where you could post an idea and get a team together on that, instead of having to post in here with some sort of media.
JynxDaddy Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Just think of how many 0 post threads there will be. Mapcore isnt really a mod community, its a mapping one ;o... I can't explain it, but it just doesnt fit in here.
FrieChamp Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 I think nobody will complain if you post a concept for a MOD here for brainstorming. But you should put some thought and effort in it before you just throw an "idea" in here ("OMFG ZOMBIE TERRORISTS MOD LO!OO!LL!!1"). Just be aware that your chances on getting people together for it might be a lot smaller than if you already had a collection of media pieces. I guess some background information about yourself would also be helpful in this situation.
Zacker Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 I agree with the others, there is no reason for a such forum. It is tough enough to reqruit people for an established mod, think of how few replies thoose ideas will get.
Lurker Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 I think its a good idea, as long as those tossing in their $0.02 don't have any obligation to help further, other than simply helping further your ideas.
mike-0 Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 how about a mod in which you play checkers, that would rock. and it could also have chinese checkers maps.
