Stephen King's The Mist

Is on Netflix.

This is a great year for Stephen, so much of his stuff coming to screen (there's another direct to TV movie coming on Netflix from him, plus IT already in cinemas and Dark Tower coming soon).

But I wonder his involvement with this, his name is used a but cheekily. At first I was quite happy to see the story re-envisioned (the main characters storykine have been greatly alterated for what i can remember) and adapted to current day tropes... but now that I got almost through the first season, feels like they've done this just to fill in content and stretch the story.

The movie was very truthful to the novel and I'm missing the tension here.

This show was so awful, so disappointment, everything about it just screamed turn me off, and I gave it 5 episodes of chance.

Worst TV show I have ever watched. It's called "The Mist" but there are no monsters. Nuff said.

I liked the movie adaptation so I was curious about this but then I read the reviews...

I'm going to the end just because I'm a sucker and want to see where they go to, but yeah, big big disappointment to probably my favourite King "short" story.

Just finished and what a boatload of crap! Except some names and 1/3 of the settings, this has nothing to do with the story!
