I guess the same could be said of the interiors, but those in general are just too old school looking. The combine spawn looks straight out of HL1, or older. Pump up the detail main Quote

Its a pretty large outdoor area, I want to have it run smooth there. So what do you guys understand with more detail in the spawnrooms? I can do some more brushwork there and make the curves look better, but I'm not going to add model like pipes, all HL2 maps have pipes, its getting old and I want a clean look and not to mutch stuff to interfere with the gameplay. mike-0 Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 The themes are cool, and the bases look nice. But those spawns are shit. Props and decals would make them so much better, and adding that crap takes about 30 seconds, its so easy. Also, there should be more than one way to get to the other base, maybe have to portals on opposite sides or something. What i really hate about tfc's 2fort is that there is one way to get to the other base and you usually walk into turret/sniper/etc trying to get to the other side. I can picture some guy standing at the front of those portals with his crossbow pointed right at it - two portals would make him picking the correct portal (obviously) less likely. All in all, i hope this makes an official release. Some of the maps on that mod are total bleh Quote
