Filipe Goncalves Posted June 17, 2017 Report Posted June 17, 2017 (edited) Hi, This was a quick environment made for a class. It's not finished (time...time...) I know I know, I start a lot of projects but finish very few. I admit that. Tried some moving volumetric lights and some rotating beacons. Colors are too saturated I know, may have to adjust that... Most assets come from The Corridor Tutorial by worldofleveldesign.com (used with permission). The remaining ones were modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. As usual feel free to comment. Jax0 Posted July 3, 2017 Report Posted July 3, 2017 Hi, this looks great! Just wondering how long did it take you to put this together? What was your workflow/pipeline like and what problems did you encounter (if any) ? Quote
Jdbener Posted July 3, 2017 Report Posted July 3, 2017 Looks really good. I can see a fun light dodging mechanic with those helicopter beam-lights. However, the sirens and gunfire are very obviously looping. If it would be possible to add a bit of sound-cue goodness to those (specifically some variation on both) it would add quite a bit to the map's ambiance. There is also a dark area (0:37 in the video) where there seem to be lights in the ceiling, but the area is almost pitch black. Adding some lights, or if removing the prop shader's emissive would help make that area a little more cohesive. Otherwise very impressive. Hope you get a good grade on it Quote
