White box ´point of interest´ templates?

Yesterday I got back to mapping  this very large (72 sq km) map after a long break. And I was on-fire! Like really in the zone, lashing out two new areas of interest where players would go to look for loot and run around killing eachother. Just as I were putting the final touch on the second one and getting ready to call it the night (at 4am), Unity crashes on me. And as soon as that spinning ball of death appeared I knew I hadn't saved once during this session! We all know the feeling I guess.

A bit demotivated I start up again today, putting together the prefabs and placing them around - but I suck. I can't reproduce that great layout and "feeling" I did the night before, and beyond the concept of these hotzones I don't really remember how I put them together.. Where the containers were, and how that alleyway suddently turned into a trap.

I just quit Unity now (without saving on purpose).  And I figured that even though it's a bit like cheating, I would look for layouts and block-out models on the web. Layouts that works and which I could use as a starting point and base for my points of interest and small bases around the map. Mainly because I'll need a lot of them to fill this map, and stacking containers can get a bit tedious in the long run.

 

Do you save your block-outs, are there templates or examples around and would anyone be interested in sharing theirs in a thread?

Sadly, all of the editing software I've used in the past 7 years or so have had an auto-save feature. I've only lost something around 5-10 minutes of work.
