Sprony Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 It's with great sadness that I learned that one of my favorite actors, Bill Paxton, has died due to complications after surgery. Of course, everybody will remember his iconic roll as Hudson in Aliens, but the man did so much more. From small roles as a soldier in Stripes or a Intercept Officer in Commando to the leading man in Twister. Still, that doesn't even scratch the surface. He's in so many things I love and he always owned the part. Be it a crazy vampire in Near Dark, a car salesman in True Lies, an astronaut in Apollo 13 or the man looking for the Titanic. His movie (which he starred and directed) Frailty still resonates with me today. I now realize, that Edge of Tomorrow is the last time I will have seen him on the big screen since I didn't watch Nightcrawler in the theater. You know, the older I get the more things I gotta leave behind, that's life. But even though I didn't know him personally, this still hurts. I'll close with the man's own classic line: Quote
blackdog Posted February 27, 2017 Report Posted February 27, 2017 Sad news I always liked his presence in any movie he appeared Quote
