In terms of Tillerson, I don't know much about the guy but he's an oil giant who's claimed he's out to make money in everything he does. It might surprise people here to hear this from me (or not) but whilst I'm all for having good relations for Russia and ending the standoff situation that exists currently... appointing a guy who received a medal of friendship from Putin is probably a step too far...

Someone didn't watch Dr Strangelove, because yeah we definitely need to be able to have the capacity to obliterate the world 2000x instead of our current lousy 1800x.

I can't believe this demagogue is supposed to be the leader of the free world, and what I also can't believe is that there's people out there who think he's what the western world needs right now, right... ..this isn't news, the hysteria isn't based on any situation that hasn't been the case during and after the Cold War. As usual MSM (especially the Washington Times, which is essentially hyperbole clickbait since the election) have taken an angle on this to make it sound as terrible as possible. Here's the thing you might miss if you're not paying attention...

It's actually an anti-proliferation message.

I agree with anyone that nuclear weapons are horrific and I'm all for them being scrapped but it will only happen when the whole world gets together to do it. People in this country like Corbyn want to get rid of our nuclear capabilities, but it's absolutely crazy to do so when a rogue state like North Korea is seeking to construct ICBMs...

As for that video about how Trump is going to take over the media, it's not quite as idiotic as "2017 New Years Resolutions for White Guys" but it's close..

We had the same crap following brexit, claims that hate crimes were on the rise. Only "hate crimes" can literally be someone reporting being offended by something Farage said on the television, or what people said in a conversation on the street. So whilst hate crimes obviously do exist, the data is skewed and some of it never even happened.
