Very nice photo enhancements, they resemble the looks of previous Unreal shots pretty well, I almost bought it. But in the end it looks more like a max render, too good to be a game (yet)

So far only pictures of the Unreal3 engine have been released, not the game. Oh and the image doesn't really do it justice, the presentation (and especially the artwork at the walls, was like photos) was just so awesome.

That's the Unreal 3 engine, not the game. I think Epic will want to finish the engine first since they're making more money out of that than out of the game.

Has it even been announced that there will be an Unreal 3? As far as I'm aware, all imagery so far is simply for the third incarnation of their engine, which doesn't necessarily mean that a third game will accompany it. They could just use it for their tournament series, or different intellectual property altogether (they really do need to move away from Unreal).

guess i'll just quit my job now as an Art Director...wait a second, i'm not an Art Director. i'm not even a 2d or 3d artist...i designed a few levels then got into product/project management. that's right...whew! glad i don't make a living creating art for games.
