Nice environments and zombie horde mechanics, but the weapon "feel" seemed a bit bland and we didn't really see anything compelling storywise. Cautiously optimistic with this one! We all know E3-demos can be total vaporware.

I saw a extended gameplay demo of this.

When I saw the demo at the Sony press conf I thought it was good but it's kind of obvious it's staged and scripted. The extended demo actually prooved to me that it's not, the guy took a completely diferent path than the one they shown at the conference and the zombie horde ran after him really well. They have some really crafty and smart AI on this, very on par with what we saw on left for dead.

I also saw a bit of bike gameplay, driving around in the bike is really fun. Also, the bike will function as your sort of a inventory chest throughout the game.

I think I was demo'd out when I saw this during the Sony Conference because it was "bam! Game. Bam! New game! Bam, trailer! Bam game!" so I thought this looked a bit too similar to TLOU... and it's zombies on top of all the other zombie games I'd seen...

...HOWEVER... watching it again, holy shit the zombie flow which reminds me of like World War Z seems to be its USP! The AI/animation/flow system looks insaneeeee, and it reminds me of the first time I saw the horde of zombies in Left 4 Dead but amped up and more next-gen!

Can't wait!

Art and mood immediately grabbed my attention. I've managed to see the gameplay yesterday and holy shit this game can make you feel in a zombie movie like no other game until now. They really got inspired by WWZ.

Im not sure I understand what kind of story they are going for, trailer was very TLOU, gameplay is L4Dish…

Anyway @Sprony never say enough, I'm still hoping to become a developer and bring my ideal zombie game to life :D (hint there would be customisation, driving and asynchronous interaction with other players)

Saw the extended demo of this at e3.

I liked it, but it went in a direction I was not expecting based on last years demo.

They have this weird "detective mode" now, a-la Batman. So you can see objects of interest on the world, I really dislike this new trend of games doing this. Horizon, Witcher, Dishonored, all have it. And it's really annoying having to switch view modes to see shit that's otherwise nearly invisible to the naked eye. It feels like "lazy" design and I wish video games stopped doing this.

They have this interesting system where "the world is out to get you", which offers a lot of unpredictability and it seems it's a true sandbox where diferent shit will happen to diferent players based on how you play and what the AI does. They played the same area as the sony presentation, but it flowed completely diferent.

Really interested in this game regardless of minor qualms. Can't wait.

Can you link the video? :) Yt is just confusing after events like these, I haven't spotted a video that sounded to be what you described.
