I think totally time to complete the high poly....thats a good question...I want to say between 16-24 hours of work time

My goal is to completely finish it this week, wife is out of town....and i'm currently unemployed so lol :)

Quick question though....I am trying to nail down my final in game polycount for the model....i have heard it needs to be 1-2k Max 5k and then ive heard it can go up to 10K
what should be the polycount goal?
I walk around games like destiny and doom and I feel the polycounts on environmental assets are in the 5-10 range

You should first consider the importance of the prop, is it something the player will get up close to? Intercact with? Perhaps even multiple times (bombsite in CSGO, ship module in Warframe etc)? What kind of area will the prop be in, open space with a lot of other stuff going on, or in a smaller room? 10k polys is not that much by todays standard, especially not for important props.
