Naivi Posted May 16, 2016 Report Posted May 16, 2016 Hi ive putted my map to Workshop and when i was testing that map it never shows me any Error but someone put comment that when he started map he just got Error texture there. Its some problem with my map or his game files? Thanks! Quote
tomm Posted May 16, 2016 Report Posted May 16, 2016 Any custom textures/models need to be packed into the bsp, I don't think the workshop uploader does that for you. And the reason you don't see the errors is because those files are present on your system. The game looks through the bsp and if it can't find the given files it falls back into the local csgo directory, and if it can't find them even there you get the error placeholder model. try Pakrat or VIDE. hgn and JustFredrik 2 Quote

With "workshop uploader" tomm means the Steam tool, not the person uploading the map. As he already explained, you need to include all custom (= not stock content) textures, models and other files into the bsp. This can be done with Pakrat or VIDE. hgn, El_Exodus, tomm and 1 other 4 Quote
