geri43 Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) Hello guys! CSGOBugTracker.com is a website designed to keep track of bugs in CS:GO maps. If you have a workshop map in >beta stage, and you wish to use CSGOBugTracker.com to give your user-base a platform to report bugs, you can now submit your map here: Submit Map, and it will be automatically added to the site. Alternatively, you can download the source code from GitHub, and host your own bug tracker with your map. Edited May 11, 2016 by geri43 JSadones, SirK, FMPONE and 2 others 5 Quote
Vaya Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 I saw this on reddit. Cool idea but I'm sure it'll get bogged down quickly with unimportant issues hgn and Lizard 2 Quote
geri43 Posted May 9, 2016 Author Report Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) Moderators can remove/confirm any bug with 1 click, and thanks to SteamAuth integration, only users with valid steam accounts can post bug reports. If someone happens to spam bug reports, he can be banned, and all of his reports are automatically removed. Edited May 9, 2016 by geri43 Quote

Pretty sure that is intended to make the level smoother to move around, so you don't get stuck on every little pebble around the map. As far as these graphical glitches go, I've never noticed some of them, I think it will take a lot of needless time + a lot of client updates to update and fix these as the list goes on (heavy for what they are at that). Its probably best to submit stuff to the devs directly if anyone has some kindof-important bugs like bombstuck spots / those funny killzones. Seems well made tho, and doing it for your own map in progress is a great idea, since there could be some very broken stuff before you publish like the Hogwarts glitch from mirage "Its not a bug its a feature" Edited May 9, 2016 by Terri El_Exodus and Fnugz 2 Quote

Normally, I only confirm bugs that could affect gameplay. In my opinion, it's better to have all the bugs collected in one place, prefiltered by the community, rather than sending multiple emails, tweets, or reddit (pls fix) posts. Not all map makers are working at valve, so they may not be notified about bug reports sent to the devs. Even FMPONE used the site to confirm some bugs. Edited May 9, 2016 by geri43 Quote
Logic Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) I saw the same system used for a site that showed you how to throw different smokes. It seems to be a good system since many people enjoy having everything accessible online. I would prefer if you could place a marker anywhere on the map (with X/Y-coordinates instead), and not just on a grid though EDIT: Also, if this takes off you don't wanna manage every single map! Let users upload an overview of their own map, provide them with a link that they can send to friends so that they can report bugs on it and let the user that uploaded the map manage it. Requesting you to upload maps is a hassle for everyone involved in my honest opinion. I guess you can do that by hosting the GitHub stuffs, but many won't have the knowledge to pull that off. 'RZL Posted June 18, 2016 Report Posted June 18, 2016 I can't see any workshop maps on that site. Did nobody submit his map yet, did none of them get approved yet, or am I just blind? Quote

For instance mine is on there Logic 1 Quote
