kykymonstar Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 I'm not sure what the proper term for this screen is called, but I was wondering on how to generate the map. If anyone can point me in the right direction or link me a tutorial, that would be gladly appreciated! Thanks guys! Ex: (Not my map! Hope you don't mind NATO!!) Quote
biXen Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 The radar overview creation is described here: Creating a working mini-map Pretty good docs at Valve's wiki in general. Quote
FX Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 It's an Unreal Tournament 4 showdown map. That is the mini navmesh map showing all the spawns and placement locations. Quote

FX Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 The showdown mod creates the map itself. It goes by the navmeshboundsvolume in the editor. So it auto generates the map according to where bots are able to navigate. kykymonstar 1 Quote
kykymonstar Posted April 29, 2016 Author Report Posted April 29, 2016 @biXen Ah! Yeah I should have specified which engine I'm trying to do this for. @FX Gotcha. I kinda figured it was generated. I'll try to give that a go, thanks for the info!! Quote
