ReNo Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 Thats a strange taste you have to reach that opinion, but to each their own I guess hamst3r - gotta love that the paths in the WoW screenshot you posted are quite a throwback to the ones in warcraft 1 Quote
Hyperion2010 Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 AoE AoE2 AoM AoE3 Now That is impressive. Quote
Mazy Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 ive always prefered warcraft 1s graphics over warcraft 2s :G~ theres a really cozy feel to w1s gfx~ Quote
ReNo Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Funnily enough I can understand preferring 1 to 2 graphically, 2 just looks messy and fugly to me. AOE3 just looks...wow. Quote
insta Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 I remember playing Warcraft 1 1vs1 via a friend of mine back in the day, via 2400 baud modems....it was so slow, we never even managed to fight, we just built bases for 30 minutes or so, got bored because it was running at around ~4 fps then quit. Good times. Quote
Oski Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 I remember playing Warcraft 1 1vs1 via a friend of mine back in the day, via 2400 baud modems....it was so slow, we never even managed to fight, we just built bases for 30 minutes or so, got bored because it was running at around ~4 fps then quit. Good times. Hehe. Sounds like fun. I never got myself the whole game. I was to young to have an economy like that. I just sat and played that demo with the two maps, or what it was. Damn i played them a lot. And when i played warcraft 2 at my friends place i got so damn impressed. Me and my brother managed to buy wc2 after a lot of saving. That sure was good times. Quote
Marcos Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Age of Empires 2 is a pretty cool game. I still play it And to get the full list of The Elders Scrolls games in the correct order: TES: Arena TES: Daggerfall TES: Battlespire TES: Redguard TES: Morrowind TES: Oblivion Quote
Kosmo Posted April 14, 2005 Report Posted April 14, 2005 Sorry couldn't find any good images of FF1 but it's prettymuch the same as FF3 and the new one, be it for PS2 so it graphics are not the top of the line like Doom3, HL2 or TES4 There has been 15 years between these two, FF3 released 1990 and new FF 12 shedudled to release 2005 Quote
