1) Portrait of a woman, made after a photo (taken from a film try-out by Andy Warhol) that was taken with very strong, very odd lighting.

2) Assignment for art history, had to make something inspired by a story from the bible. I chose the apocalyps for it's drama, hypocracy and my frustration about the story.

3) This is my girlfriend in bed, asleep. The most cosy, safe and fragile situation imaginable. I painted her dead, because of the contrast, and a car accident she was in by then - i almost watched her die which was extremely shocking. (She had nothing in the end because a car just stopped, his tyre just didn't hit her head that was on the asphalt already)

4) Abstract work, made after the Dutch justice department fucked me up the ass again (sorry for the words). I just started putting crap on the paper, candle wax, crayons, paint. That, and then i went loose on some tree in our garden

4) Blue balls on fire. This kinda art sells, cuz its so vague, like elevator music

2) Just random people. I just chose them as the symbols for the worst conflict in history. (You're the first to recognise Stalin by the way, who turned out to be really bad, hardly recognisable so good job!

I simply love the first and fourth paintings. I would actually consider purchasing the fourth one especially. Any chance of you selling your work?

The fourth work would be quite hard to transport. It's made with candle wax which breaks quite easily. Besides that it's quite hard to sell things since my bigger paintings (these are 1x1 meters) are pretty personal. I'm flattered though and if you live anywhere nearby i'll consider the offer

Candle wax? How unique! Man, I really wish I could have it, but I somehow doubt Texas is near where you are

Posty prolly made shitloads of money on D3:Res, and is now willing to spend it on paintings!

But did you make a "painting" out of candle wax? Did you just melt in an put it together?

It's paper with paint, candle wax on it, and i glued something on it (black/white dot). Oh and graffiti spraycans

Hey cool pix specialy the first one. I should make a few photos from my paintings too. I have half a dozen 100x80 cm acryl paintings and a few smaler ones.
