st0lve Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 Stalker is awesome. Although i find aiming a bit, how you say, it felt really uneasy. Like in CS or HL2, i know exactly how to point my gun at someone and just shoot and in Stalker it just felt weird. Like i wasn't able to shoot very well. Still got quite some kills in the E3 stalker tournament though, was fun Damn I hate you, I wanna play stalker more than you. Quote
ginsengavenger Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 i don't agree with arguments that 10 hours for a game is too short (not just BG&E, max payne games etc) i just don't get it, maybe it's because i'm older and have a full time job, to put 10 hours into a game is pretty big ¬¬ agreed. when a game is good but doesn't drag on forever it really feels like a mercy to me. Campaignjunkie Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 Well normally I would agree (like with Max Payne), but with BG&E I was really wanting more. The whole world just really felt huge and vast - it just seemed kind of abrupt for me to leave it so soon. I guess it just felt like I was playing an RPG at times, which are usually much more than 10 hours. Quote
Fullauto Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 I prefer my games short - usually means they're more focused and the gameplay tends to benefit on the whole. Quote
Tequila Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 Brothers in Arms on Authentic. HL2 and all its jazz. About to give Resurrection of Evil a whirl. Edit: Console-wise, it's Project Gotham Racing 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Timesplitters 3 and Devil May Cry 3 for me. That's a lot of sequels. Quote
Argyll Posted April 9, 2005 Report Posted April 9, 2005 INS Forgotten Hope for BF1942 (I just like to fly planes in it) BiA a wee bit... kind of found it to get sort of repetitive in terms of gameplay. I recently re-discovered Vietcong... that's a drastically underrated game, it can be so intense! Quote

Mojo Posted April 12, 2005 Report Posted April 12, 2005 Got Mercenaries, Splinter Cell 3, GTA:SA,and Resident Evil 4 to beat. I really want to pick up Jade Empire but I think I will wait on that for a bit. I also have Pirates to beat but that is a game that you can just keep on playing. I want to play Deus Ex (the one and only), Civ3, and Wind Waker again just since they are awesome games. But it has all been destroyed by WoW. Waiting for BF2 since hopefully that will stop me from playing CS:S for a awhile and help me get into other games. (I just beat HL2 2 weeks ago, after being so close Quote
