Hello Mapcore!

I'm currently working on my new project called de_grand or just Grand. Workshop link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=654551250

It's a bomb defusal map set in Tehran, Iran. The overall setting was inspired by BF3 Grand Bazaar map, the layout on the other hand - by very old CS 1.6 map called de_esl_autumn. Yeah, I know that there's a map Bazaar in steam workshop, but I'm not going to create the same de_mirage feeling around my level...

The thing I'm looking for is your feedback, just let me know if it's worth working on this map. Would like to know your opinion about the current layout, playstyle the map provides. Don't punish me for bad use of props, most of them are just placeholders that should help you imagine the overall setting of the map (e.g. picture below).

Every map is worth it. With enough time and effort you'll have a good map, and even if you don't like the end result, you will have learnt so much that your next map is going to be much better.

Looks pretty detailed and good looking, wouldn't see why not working on it if it has a good layout and you have ideas on how to differentiate.

Maybe save the last version before you really start detailing and texture, just in case you want change theme.

Only comment I have is: think the garage doors are supposed to be flipped with the roll on the inside? But maybe you have reference that says otherwise.

Gonna flip the doors then, but I won't change the one at B Long as it allows you to trick jump above smokes and stuff...

Also, there is a quote from reddit:

I think the middle is useless, as it does not open up any new pathways for T:s, but instead makes it easier to take certain positions.

What do you think about it?
