When buying such a thing, would the user be allowed to convert the files for use in other engines?

I'm not sure about that but assets are available in FBX , OBJ or maya (.ma) files and textures in psd files so that can be used in other engine. I think we can use it except for ryse projects in other engine.

On reddit, an user not affiliated with Crytek said he couldn't find any statement restricting the use of those assets, so, go for it

This is great, I think I'll get everything even though I'm not likely to use the stuff any time soon. But I'm sure there's stuff that could be put in a CSGO map, and overall it's a big pile of assets that could be used for a polished prototype.

I just wonder if anyone is going to redistribute the converted stuff for free, would the EULA restrict that you think? (he said while heading to checkout page)
