Pictures are pretty. But i think the graves get something glorious in your pictures (because they're pretty and are in nice colors and all), so they don't portrait the graves well, which they should do.

I think it is. A really good photo is more than just a pretty picture. For graves, i'd go for some more humble photos really. Even for war heroes. Death is never something glorious, not even for war heroes. Cemetaries are there for grief, to remember those people.

Im not ruskie. The graveyard is in germany behind the house of my parents. Its a very interesting place cause it shows all the history of my hometown. There are graves of every wars from napoleon to ww2.

Theres nothing glorious in the pics cause they show graves of too different people.

That's like partially true. Are we to feel grief for the thousands we don't even know who they are? Visiting a random grave site carries with it a different emotion, it's like a odd sense of discovery.

And Steppenwolf, i think that because of some bright colors and because you tried to make pretty pictures, they get something glorious almost. I should take pics of the graveyards in savannah, They are huge and filled with people from both the civil and revolutionary war.

I understand your point but for me personaly the graveyard is a beautiful and peaceful place. I like it to be there watching the old stones, the animals and the trees. Its a good place to think about things and to learn schoolstuff (when i was a younger).

You are right that i tried to make beautiful pics. I dont know the reason. Maybe because i like the place and want to show how it is there in reality.
