I know it's only in early access, but I've been having a ton of fun with this game, especially on stalker difficulty level. It's basically survival in Canadian wilderness in winter. Lot of choice and usually consequence for each choice. Since it's early access there are of course a few hurdles, with the sandbox being the only game mode, and there being some unfair mechanics in place currently. However, for the most part of the game, it is a great wilderness survival simulation.

I remember seeing the preview article on Polygon way before they started the early access, description and art really caught my attention... then when I saw the footage it seemd to be quite sluggish in terms of performance. Would be nice if they were to do a free weekend.

performance is really smooth now, like I said, the biggest thing right now is just the balance issues when you're playing on the hardest difficulty and some few minor design issues.

Yeah I played this a bit like 5 months ago or something and even back then it was a very nice survival game. I remember it was quite tough but it was fun exploring and trying to survive.

The audio in the game is really nice too. They really make you feel cold!
