When you look at France 3 or France 2, you see how politician and random citizen never learn. Hard to bury those things when no lessons are really learned.

I've just read a news article on facebook from a not trusted source that France is conducting big inspections in mosques and have recovered half of last year's worth of weapons. Arrested and expelled many imams… is that bullshit right?

Plus another shooting in Florida. The past two weeks are crazy. Terrorist attacks in France and Germany, a coup in Turkey, Trump as republican candidate, a shooting in Florida, bombings in the middle east and so on. Things seem to be spiraling out of control in a rapid pace.

There does seem to be a perceptible escalation week by week doesn't there? Of violent shootings and such. I wonder if it is actually getting worse or if it's just the news reporting relatively common incidents more — kind of like how it seemed there were suddenly lots of aircraft incidents in the last two years but it was really just existing levels being reported more often. After all, we know people are shooting and stabbing people all the time anyway. Statistics show this.

Yeah, I think we're so connected now that we really get to see how terrible to human race really is. For instance, in less than an hour of the attacks news of it had spread around the globe. In fact, often social media and what not is even quicker than the actual news by showing videos and pictures. Nothing escapes us anymore. It has become so universally accepted to film things, that people rather grab their phone than to actually see if they can help victims.

I just read an article (link bellow) that talks about this recent wave of shit in our globe, I hope it's just doom and gloom but the dude makes some interesting pointers. It's never a bad idea to look at our history as a cautionary tale. Not saying I agree with his view, I still have a little bit of faith in our race specially since we're so connected nowadays, and that brings good things too.

Biggest flaw of his argumentation  go me is that he doesn't count into account that the natural selection doesn't select the better people for humanity since it decimates intelligent people each time
