SuperDuperYeah Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 Hola good people of the Mapcore ! I've been commenting a bunch on other's portfolio and thought I'd submit myself to the exercise as well. Here's the link ! I also want to mention that I'm looking for work :). TheOnlyDoubleF Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 YoThree things for me: - Everything is huge: I have to scroll down a lot to access to all the content on the front page. I find it a bit annoying.- Why do you put your Educational part at the end of your resume??? It stills important to me as you don't have a lot of professional experience in the industry (no offense uh) I would definitely put it on the first page, at least not at the end. - Overall design is pretty clean, good job.Cheers SuperDuperYeah 1 Quote
SuperDuperYeah Posted September 10, 2015 Author Report Posted September 10, 2015 Hey Franck ! Thanks a bunch. Absolutely no offense taken (it's a fact ! No experience yet). I've put the education bit there because almost all my instructors said "In this industry... People don't really care for education. It's more what you can do". So that's that... Not too sure what to do with it to be honest. Quote

People know this school and they immediately know if they should read the resume or not. So at this stage, where you come from can count." I suppose it can very much depend on the recruiter, your experience, your school. Could be coll to get some other thoughts about that. SuperDuperYeah 1 Quote
Harry Edwards Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 I would agree with what DoubleF said about images being too large. Viewing your website on a laptop with a 1080p screen all I can see is the nav bar and half the screenshot before scrolling. Ideally I'd like to be able to see what it is and what it was made in without having to scroll. E.g. try and fit each project in one screen length. SuperDuperYeah and TheOnlyDoubleF 2 Quote
SuperDuperYeah Posted September 19, 2015 Author Report Posted September 19, 2015 Yep ! I totally agree. Needs to be quicker to access information. I'll give other layouts a try. When I've reorganized this stuff I'll post an update in here. Thanks guys ! TheOnlyDoubleF 1 Quote
