Oh, you would have to have played Battlefield 1 to get that reference, Monte Grappa is a pretty sick map in that game :) It made me google references from the german/austrian/swiss alps.

I also need to blend it with some textures for added detail. Mesh is currently 9,800 tris with a 2k texture. Should be able to trim it down a few thousand by culling that which can't be seen.

Yes! Backdrops are too often ignored by designers/artists, great work!

Got ya.

But just so you know, Monte Grappa is very Italian… we don't even consider to be Alps cos it barely shows there now. It was a contested area only because in WW1 Austrian empire owned the major part of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia 🤓

If you ever go there you can visit several trench ruins (and eat lots of good food and drink lots of good wine 😋)

Anyway, back on topic, looks great, although a bit empty, I hope you can pop singer forests on there.

      Two new asset releases!

      First up is Basalt. Sadly I can't release all of the assets as some of the nature stuff is from Megascans and can't be redistributed. Also only includes the assets I've made.
