DaanO Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 isn't it possible for admins to see who voted what? so who voted let her "live"? Quote
ginsengavenger Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 yeah tell us who voted to keep her alive so we can crucify them :/ Quote
Minos Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Does it really matter daan ? One cant have his own opinion anymore ? Quote
Irish Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 well i voted to keep it in I've read up on it a bit (its hard to tell whats bullshit and whats not), and well it seems like money's involved in some way, i think he got money from some settlement to take care of her, 1 mill i think. also why does the husband make the final choice? If i was on my death bed, i think i trust my family more to make that kind of decision, because when you think about it her husband probably doesn't want to deal with it anymore(just doesn't give a shit) while MOST families are always there looking out for your be interests. Can't he just move on and just let her family take care of her?, maybe he wants her dead to cash in? Anyway i'm really sick of hearing about this on the radio/tv and newspaper everyday. 3...2...1....Crucify Oh on a side note, I'm not right wing christian douche bag, nor am i a left wing pansy, i'm somewhere in the middle giving both sides the finger. DaanO Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Just curious who voted keep alive. Besides that as far as i know irish he's someone i can take seriously so it's all good. No crucifiction at Easter you know. So Irish, how come 20 courts or so ruled that she would have wanted to die in a situation like this? Also, her situation is not gonna change, her husband probably just wants to get on with his life, and that can change, his situation can get better. Quote
Irish Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 As far as the courts go, i think they shouldn't have gotten involed in the first place, let the family fight it out. Also i just think that the husband should have just moved on with his life before this whole thing got out of hand(i mean she's been like this for a long fucking time, he has to be tapping something on the side or maybe he should have moved out of the country pay for $3 hookers and live like a king haha), maybe he would have if he knew the shit storm it was going to start. ginsengavenger Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 I just think you should know better than to directly ask that an admin name names. It's an anonymous vote and none of our business unless they want to come forward with their reasoning. I respect Irish for doing so despite his vote being the unpopular one. btw I don't recall the details but I seem to recall that the husband *has* remarried, though I could be gravely mistaken since I haven't been following the story. Anyway that's none of my business. Quote
Minos Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 Irish, the state laws say that the husband has the rights to decide if his wife will live or not in situations like that so its not a family decision actually. So do women when their husband is in a situation like that. Quote

Well, if the family would fit it out husband would take tube out, they'd put tube back in. He'd take tube out. They'd put it back in. And then people get hurt. Besides that i think he tried to get on with his life before, i mean, 20 courts or something (a lot at least) means this has been going on for years. Gins: Don't take that comment 100% serious. Maybe only like 25%. Or something. Quote
kleinluka Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 To be completely honest I think this whole thing has been blown up like a ridicolously oversized baloon by the press. The woman is basically dead already. The decision is just about making her death official or keeping her chained to her bed in that condition until she dies completely in a natural way. This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. I'm sure there are other people in the same or similar situation as she is right now. Quote
D3adlode Posted March 29, 2005 Report Posted March 29, 2005 If this so called "jesus' loved her, why did he let this happen to her in the first place? That's always my argument, if God exists why did he let 9/11/Tsuami/WWII/Pompei etc happen? Quote
