Beck Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Saw this last weekend with some friends and loved it. Wasn't what I was expecting and had a few good laughs in it.Audiobook shall be next on my cards once I've finished GoT! Quote
blackdog Posted October 18, 2015 Report Posted October 18, 2015 Went to cinema yesterday and enjoyed it a lot. My girl although she was sceptical liked it… science! Was expecting it to be more serious and dramatic, while with the several jokes it made it flow quicker. For me the first really good movie from Scott since Matchstick Man. Quote
Seldoon182 Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 (edited) Finally the movie has been released in France.OH MY FUCK** GOOD! DA LANDSCAPE MAN! I could watch this movie even without any story. OST Youtube host btw.I was in it. I was so absorbed in the movie that I was really believing this is happening. Idea and such popped in my mind I was like "Omg maybe in my lifetime I'll witness human landing on Mars" and I already know that day I'll cry from all my soul and goosebumps from every part of my body as the best adventure ever! Gj Ridley Scott.Am I the only one to think how stupid the Ares III rocket premature departure while the Ares IV one is already there and there's no problem!? blackdog Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 Despite having read the book before, I very much enjoyed the movie. The struggle for survivial didn't get across as much as in the book, but obviously they had to leave out a lot of the details. I do wonder though:Hidden Content Was completely random for what I'm concerned! And yes, didn't feel he was worried at all for his life. Quote
El Moroes Posted October 27, 2015 Author Report Posted October 27, 2015 It was good to see it, even if they cut some things / actions presented in the book (I'm of course a bit disappointed about this point but...well for me it stays a very good movie to see). Seldoon182 1 Quote
tr0nic Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 Saw it last Tuesday when James Bond released, room was empty (6th week in theaters). I didn't watch any of the trailers. Pretty damn good except it's a bit predictable. 6$ well worth it though :) Quote
