Puddy Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 http://www.polygon.com/2015/6/2/8711723/steam-refundsGood move, I dare say! Valve probably figured that they could stack their money higher than Mount Everest and figured it was okay to allow a few refunds. Thrik and Squad 2 Quote

Mazy Posted June 3, 2015 Report Posted June 3, 2015 It's cool, but I wonder if they'll make exceptions for games that are actually under 2 hours long. Zezeri 1 Quote
Puddy Posted June 3, 2015 Author Report Posted June 3, 2015 It's cool, but I wonder if they'll make exceptions for games that are actually under 2 hours long.Yeah, a colleague of mine actually thought about this. How long is Dear Esther for example? That's kind of close to home cause it was made by a corebro. Quote
Zezeri Posted June 3, 2015 Report Posted June 3, 2015 It's cool, but I wonder if they'll make exceptions for games that are actually under 2 hours long.This. There are games that are very short (and obviously cost a lot less). Some maybe be able to beat or almost beat the game and do a refund. Quote
blackdog Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 They should put a disclaimer that you can't ask for refund if you completed the game. It'd be fairly easy to check as well I think.plus: people should just provide demos. Quote

If you ask refund from games from Humble Bundle, they can't know how much you paid. I usually actually steer all money toward the devs of the couple games I buy the pack for.Same applies to greenman etc, if you buy discount… maybe works only for stuff bought through steam?
