shawnolson Posted May 1, 2015 Report Posted May 1, 2015 Well the answer to your question could involve more than just disable shadows. There are a few other things you can do to get good shadows with the foliage. Here are just a few tips off the top of my head: When setting your level to compile, you'll want to set these VRAD commands: -staticproppolys -staticproplighting -textureshadows (and make an entry in the lights.rad for your map that includes the forcetextureshadow command for this prop). If you are the author of the model, change the orientation of the Normals for the model.
