So if any of you are as much as an old fart as I am, you may have fun learning how easy it is to import a Goldsrc level into 3ds Max ... and then re-export it into newer engines (like Source). In this video, I'm taking a CS 1.6 level I made over a decade ago and sending it into CS:GO in a couple of minutes without any hassle.

 

 

And yes, I know that you can import your MAP into the CS:GO Hammer. But this is for the Max/WW people... and those who don't want to re-make material names and all that boring stuff.
