Mazy
Yup, they actually managed to make something that looks worse than the first movie. That's quite an accomplishment. And nah, that's another guy.

jackophant
First Hitman film's Agent 47 was Timothy Olyphant, who is also the bad guy in die hard 4.0, where as this guy is Rupert Friend who is known for pride and prejudice and a recurring roll in Homeland (The more you know!) For the average consumer this might be a good film, but I feel this paints Agent 47 as primarily a "bad guy". But that could just be the trailer... ShockaPop
It's quite funny (no, it really isn't), how they can't seem to understand what made Hitman games awesome. Stealth game turned to movie shouldn't be full-blown action with guns blazing on every scene. knj, jackophant and Mazy

jackophant
"Youtube Video" I saw a similar video looking at action scenes, specifically jackie chan in his native format vs western directing. Film analysis stuff is very interesting! It's quite funny (no, it really isn't), how they can't seem to understand what made Hitman games awesome. Stealth game turned to movie shouldn't be full-blown action with guns blazing on every scene. The scene when he's by the audi, pretty sure they're using silenced pistols fire as the sound effect for a quite clearly unsilenced weapon. (speaking of which how did that car not rip the people off the roof tops?!) Ooops I thought that was Orlando Bloom. It does look like him, before we got a good shot of his face I wasn't sure. Talking of first shots... How fucking bad is that transfer on the back of his head? You could make a movie that really emphasised on the things that make the Hitman games cool, with him planning a hit, investigating the surroundings and executing it (and then the inevitable fuck up), could have kind of a heist movie vibe to it, have him take out a list of people. But sure, then it needs the 3 act structure, making him relatable and some love interest or else it wont sell I guess. But I guess that if they actually tried to make the movies based on the appeal of the franchise then they probably wouldn't be able to get them financed. Puddy
If you want a good hitman movie, check out John Wick. There's only brief moments of "stealth", but it feels like it's about ten times more interesting than this. Grinwhrl
-HP-
I don't even need to see the trailer to know it's bad, their promo images alone with Agent 47 doing stunts and going all rambo show's they miss the point of this franchise. Agent 47 is not Rambo he's a fucking chameleon that puts poison in your Martin, and he's out of there before you even start to feel dizzy. Fuck you Hollywood, once again. I fell in the trap of watching the first one, won't be falling on that trap again.

It's very "Action Noir" styled, i'm a sucker for that style, loved that movie. knj
Grinwhrl
Hitman should be a 3 act crime drama with a twist of scifi. But its far to late for this so whatevah.
blackdog
This is so unexpected! What a disappointment tho For a moment during the trailer I felt this was a bit better than the other, but nah, it looks just as bad.
dkm
It's very "Action Noir" styled, i'm a sucker for that style, loved that movie. Except it was very action green to me (I did enjoy the movie though! Probably a lot more than I will the new Hitman...)
-HP-
For once in my life, a heavily post processed movie didn't bother me at all, quite the contrary, the post process in this movie helped selling the fact it doesn't take itself seriously neither it's any depiction of reality.
