clankill3r Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 When I go back from the game back to hammer then the grid windows and the 3d windows are ******. Is there anyway to fix this apart from restarting hammer? Quote
ESToomere Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 What happens when you click on the 3D view and try to move around? Quote
tomm Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I believe this is a common problem, although I've never experienced it I know some people who did.. they just restart hammer. but what I do when I test my changes is run the map through hammer in a windowed mode. just hit F9 or press the compile icon, then go to "Expert..." and create a new compile command. mine looks like this -dev -console -sw -w 1280 -h 720 -allowdebug -game $gamedir +fps_max 60 +map $file fps_max is there because otherwise my gpu becomes an airplane turbine. you can leave that one out. spence 1 Quote

text_fish Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I've had this bug for years. Just need to minimize hammer as soon as you start your compile, or before the game launches. Quote

Spherix Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 (edited) Run the client in windowed mode and it wont be an issue. Can even add it to your compile parameters. Edit: Someone even listed the paramters above. Edited January 12, 2015 by Spherix ESToomere 1 Quote
