blackdog Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 I am in the process of buying a gaming laptop.I would like suggestions on a couple of accessories:1. Headphones2. game padOn the first one I'm ready to invest a bit of money, I know good headphones will last a lot and they are crucial to enjoy a good game. I am not updated at all in that regard.I would like to get a pad, since I'm now used to play with it and I have lot of TPS and action/adventure a-la Tomb Raider in my Steam back catalog.I love the X360 controller, but for what I know, the bundled wireless pad can't work with the computer. I am wondering if there's any word on compatibility for the XOne controller, or if there are better PC game pads you would suggest.Should I bother waiting for the Steam Controller? Any indication of when that's gonna be out? I recently saw on an Italian forum that a revised design has been posted and will be presented at the GDC. Quote
AyzOn Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 You can use the Xbone Controller on your pc, Microfrost even sells special version of them where the only real difference is just the usb cable they added. From my experience you can get pretty much every controller to work with your pc so it really depends only on you.^^ I really like the 360 Controller so my next one will definetly be the Xbone Controller.
