The server browser update sounds really cool, but I'm down to playing just one game a week (to avoid decay) at this point. The competitive mode is honestoy just a mess right now in masters and GM. A lot of people are either forcefully tanking their SR for whatever reason or just dicking around on their alts, not even trying to win. The solution would be to play with my friends, but they're not even diamond so I can't. It's sad because the gameplay is still really great and fun.

so I got matched with golds after a devastating losing streak...

I'm not boasting or anything but I have to say I was really burnt out after 25 mins of non-stop spanking the enemy teams butts sore.

I've been super frustrated with Overwatch lately, especially the balance issues (Hanamura is a fucking mess, and as well as the four or five "insta-lose on pick" Heroes), so I reinstalled CS:GO last night... and then remembered why I stopped playing CSGO, lol. It would be nice if Overwatch could just be the good game it deserves to be!!

I'm still loving it, more than ever, not a massive fan of all the Phara play right now, shes so frustrating O.o, mostly because I play Torb and Lucio a lot, anyhoo, this happened a few mins ago, Torbs my main, and my win rate on him is nuts, like 70% (yes I only play quickplay, maybe that's why im just enjoying it so much :P)

Finally got to diamond. Instantly went down again after a game where people had no idea how to group up and push to a point as one. They just went there to die one by one and yelled 'wheres my team??'

Sigh, I guess teamwork and common sense is just an anomaly in this game, just a random glitch.

ahah, I can promisse you it gets better once you get to low/mid diamond. You start playing with "redditers" and people that put a lot of work to get to where they are, and they know the only way to keep going up is by interacting with the team. I'm nearly at Master now, and I get way less "lone wolfs" aka "hanzo mains"

In master people know exactly what they're doing, just not in the sense you'd expect. There's more often than not one person per game chilling in base, not giving a fuck. Wish these people could be banned somehow, but I don't see it happening.

I don't mind off meta picks at all, but when someone goes Torbjörn on Ilios and instantly leaves voice chat you know what's up.

I dunno why but lately my SR's been plummeting, with bad teams who can't get their shit together. I'll regularly have 2/3 golds but finding myself without a team behind me because they can't shoot a pharah or tracer or sombra (????). Or I'll protect the backline and the front guys will inevitably lose their Rein shield first and get wiped out. Down to 2400 now.

Had a problem for some weeks now, my screen would turn black and then i got gfx errors. Only a hard reboot helped. So fucking annoying. 

Turns out, i had dust from half of sahara in my computer and for some reason i used a DVI adapter for my screen when i had a HDMI screen and HDMI on my gpu. 

So dusted out the comp and plugged in a HDMI cable and daayum turns out i could play even better with more FPS and HD resolution 

I would say that i can play all heroes, fairly well. I admit im not good with tracer but im starting to get better but fuck Sombra. I feel like she is impossible to master, you sneak in, hack some shit and start shooting only to die instantly. Nope i will stick to my Pharah <3.

Played Lucio in a competative on Ilios. Nobody could kill anything and they had a pharah wrecking us. After 0-2 i asked politely if i could play pharah instead of healer. We won 3-2 thanks to a guy realizing he was not doing anything good with Soldier. I even shot down their pharah so many times he switched to McCree.

Not trying to brag but my point is sometimes people have to talk and switch roles, change tactics. Games with people playing on their own (Hanzo mains) are often bound to be a loss. That's why i love playing between 2500-3000. I imagine it's even more fun over 3K.

It's kind of funny how fast SR can swing with streaks as I had a game recently where we were underdogs in mid master, but had three people who used to be 4200-4500 just recently. They had a rough patch of games individually, but when put together absolutely dominated. Going from top 500 to top 5% in a week doesn't make much sense. But I understand there are also good reasons for streak bonus/punishment. Looking forward to seeing how the system will evolve over time.
