Vilham Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 and I think we have a map pack map ladies and gentlemen. Seriously it was fun to play, you tested it rigorously and it looks awesome fully detailed. Quote
spence Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Looks fantastic! I love the colours, the lush green and the pinkish sandy dirt really work well together. Edited November 2, 2014 by spence will2k 1 Quote
matuka Posted November 2, 2014 Report Posted November 2, 2014 Absolutely beautiful, the vibrancy of the map is definitely a change from what I'm used to playing. Quote
esspho Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) I' didnt play the map yet but I must say you really nailed the theme. I'm working on a map with a similar setting and when I saw it on the workshop I thought: Damn, catfood did it! I feel great respect for your work and this map in particular. catfood Posted November 4, 2014 Author Report Posted November 4, 2014 Thank you glad you like it. So you are still working on that map? I remember you made all those custom dev textures with names like grass stone etc on them. Also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjzBpJ1XYwc spence and esspho 2 Quote
esspho Posted November 4, 2014 Report Posted November 4, 2014 So you are still working on that map? I remember you made all those custom dev textures with names like grass stone etc on them. Yeah, that's the one. It takes like forever but it's getting somewhere. I shall post some pictures sometime soon. On topic: I saw some comments on the workshop to alter the mapname. Imho you should stick with log - it's acurate and memorable. After playing some botrounds yesterday I must say it's pretty fun. Maybe you could accentuate the bombspots a little more to help the overall orientation - like the excavators on the site could have a slightly different colour than the other ones on the map .. just thinking. catfood 1 Quote
cashed Posted November 4, 2014 Report Posted November 4, 2014 Nice work! I'll check it out later tonight Quote
