I think it's good something like this came out. I see this as a good example (even if it never gets released) that really there's no audience for this kind of stuff. Still, I'd try this out just to then have more weight to my words saying how the game's too shallow and really isn't giving anything.

May I also say that I'm a firm leftist anticapitalist myself and yet I disagree with almost everything Chainsaw said with regards to Hatred.

Also, want to play games that have strong criticisms of capitalist systems? Play Oddworld.

Another team member, ‘CEO and Animator’ Jarosław Zieliński, has prominently displayed an endorsement on his public Facebook page of the Polska Liga Obrony: an established nationalist Islamophobic, anti-immigration hate group.

This reminds me the game "Terrorist Attack" (not sure about the game, i've read this article long time ago), made by white suprematists where you have to kill dozen of black gang members, coming to their house and kill them, in the way this game show it.

Also, i'm not sure how relevant it is to stalk someone's profile on facebook and decide that what you see if what this person his. We all know a person who re-posted once a shitty article about migrants taking our jobs and others nationnalists stuff. But you can't judge someone only with this hint. I don't say this guy is an angel or a devil, i'm not here for judging him. Just to prevent some witch-hunt.

Not going to comment on the guy personally, never met him, but that background of a pile of skulls ain't exactly helping matters. Sigh~

"Hatred trailer. People chosen for execution are mostly minorities, 3/10 are white, and the developers seem to have racist backgrounds."

...

I'm not going to post in this thread anymore because people ought to make games to make other people happy, or entertain them. Or at least not advocate genocide, maybe we can put the bar there and hope that everybody is at least intelligent enough to meet that very low expectation.

Yeah the headline "neo-nazi" and the reality, anti immigration don't match up. Sensationalist nonsense.

Destructive Creations doesn’t seem to know what they are doing. I can’t think of any situation where that trailer is an appropriate use of the NYPD logo.

Makes you wonder what else just got "added" to this game.

Yeah but putting the logo on shot glasses and other merchandise is fine. I mean, it's not like they're a public institution created to serve the people.

it's a game, nothing more... I don't understand why this is different from GTA, where you can kill as many innocent people as you want without doing any mission.. Or PAYDAY where you kill like dozens of cops, and these cops would never die if you didn't rob that bank. I think it would be very bad to ban these kind of games,  just because some people might be triggered to actually shoot up a neighborhood... Would be better to worry more about how these people are able to get weapons than about a simple piece of entertainment.

Marcem, you need to learn what nazi and right wing mean. They are not the same thing.

Marcem, you're performing character assassination against the developers based on their (purported) beliefs. While it's ok for you to think whatever you want about the game, accusing the developers of being nazis is libel, bordering on conspiracy theory. You're essentially propagating another GamerGate.
