Bugs:

Working on:

 

- I hate ladders, they will be removed eventually, if possible

- Considering deleting the vent pathway on top of the garbage bin

- As many crates as possible will be removed as the development progresses.

- Detailing!

 

So, do you like it? Do you hate it? Find it boring? Please let me know so I can work on it.

 

I can't actually play with you until I'm able to connect to the server again. If anyone knows who rents/hosts the server please let me know.

 

I have emailed the server host personally and it seems they have looked into the issue. I am once again able to participate in this and other playtests.

I really prefer DE_natty. Not sure what it is but you've removed a lot of the maps 'soul' and fun bits

 

for example the drop from the room into B was unique and fun 

options at A seem limited

Edit - After more thinking about it might be due to the lack of routes and vertical height?

In B ct's had too much advantage on ladders, so I think you should re-add stairs OR put a little box back to the wall, so T's can see there without committing to the ladder.

Overall I liked this version much more! It was better in almost every way. The middle was better etc. You should still think a bit chokepoints where players meet. I felt that taking B was hard, because CT's could make really good crossfires in chokepoint. The A the door feels nice, but sometimes makes really awkward fights happen. Other A chokepoint was less fun. I don't know what was wrong, maybe that OP headshotbox, where CT could demolish the whole team? This map has good potential now! :)

Alright guys, new update on this topic. I have added a general download link as well.

 

I would personally like to thank everyone who participated in all of these playtests. I know exactly who you are and would name every single one of you but there's plenty so it would be quite a list.

 

Anyhow, if you have any feedback you would like to add you can always mention it here. I tend to monitor this thread, even though I don't exactly reply (only when I manage to find some time).

 

My texturework sucks so if you can please bear with it, I'm very new to it and someone actually gave me great advice on how to work with textures just recently and I'm hoping I'll become better at it with time.
