ElectroSheep Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Hi guys, A few months ago, we tested de_highlands several times on the mapcore playtest. Now we want to share some progress even if we are far from the end. It's a defuse map setted in Scotland and we want to make a beta version as soon as we can. Minos Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 Nice! Lighting looks a bit washed out and artificial though... could be the exposure settings TECHNICKER 1 Quote

JeanPaul Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) Are the T's very close to B? judging from the screenshot lol Id guess T's can only go under it from the start (see how there is a sub level under the church on the map?) Also sweet map so far bro! Edited September 8, 2014 by JeanPaul Quote
holiestcows Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 I can tell already from the screen shots the layout and flow of the map have improved a lot since testing, great job! I look forward to the next play test. Quote
will2k Posted September 8, 2014 Report Posted September 8, 2014 Brilliant work reminds a bit of de_celtic for CS 1.3 I agree with Minos about over-exposure and colors being washed out; you could try using warmer and less bright color correction like the one in aztec or train or reduce max exposure a tad in the tonemap controler. In any case, awesome work so far; keep it up and looking forward to the final release Quote
