D3ads
I received a PM from Nicolai Aaroe, head of the Misery mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. who I befriended awhile ago telling me about his kickstarter launch for a series of role playing cards. On closer inspection of his page, I realised he'd also started up a brand new game back in March called "The Seed" which is presented as a dystopian point and click title set in a post-apocalyptic Russian wasteland. You can read all about it here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/989416433/the-seed-0 There's lots of media and information on the page and there's also a great video explaining exactly what the project straight from the faces of the developers! I have been long impressed by Nicolai's photoshop skills and it's truly great to see them put to their strongest use here, his photo-manip techniques are wonderful! You can see his playing cards project here too: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/989416433/decks-of-the-aftermath-vol1 As you can see, support for both projects is already very strong, with The Seed already well within the funding budget with the first act due sometime this month! D3ads
..uhhh, don't all post at once guys. Aaroe is looking for feedback/support and this is a unique indie title so I thought there would be people interested enough... Sprony
As promised I would get back to this. First off, one of the best Kickstarter setups I've seen. Hands down. Everything is well presented and carefully thought out. Sjonsson, take a note of this. Secondly, I love the atmosphere and the visual appearance of the game. The sound effect are also very well done. However, this is not my kind of thing and I'll doubt I'll buy it. However, I can appreciate the fact that they tend to innovate and I hope they reach an audience. Not much else to say really
